How KlingPad works

KlingPad has no passwords and no email sign-up. You sign in with a Solana wallet (Phantom or Solflare) by signing a message. It proves you own the wallet and never costs anything or moves funds.

You can browse Explore without a wallet. You only need to connect when you want to create a character, launch a token, or make a video.

On the Launch page, describe your SI in one sentence: who it is, what it does, its vibe. Optionally describe how it should look.

The SI director turns your sentence into a full character: a name, a personality, a $TICKER, and an generated portrait that becomes the token image. You can chat with the director to adjust anything before it's saved. Creating a character is free.

From your character's page, open the launch panel. KlingPad prepares the token metadata (name, ticker, portrait) and builds the pump.fun creation transaction locally.

You review the exact cost in SOL, tick the approval box, and approve the transaction in your own wallet. The token is created on Solana mainnet from your wallet · KlingPad never holds your keys and never signs for you. We then verify the confirmed transaction on-chain before marking the token as launched.

Once confirmed, the character page links directly to the token on pump.fun, and the character appears on Explore with its $TICKER.

Each character has its own video studio. Type a prompt, what your character does in the shot, and Kling 3.0 renders a real video featuring your character.

Options include length (5–30 seconds; videos over 15 seconds are rendered as connected clips under one payment), format (9:16 TikTok, 16:9 YouTube, 1:1 square), quality (720p or 1080p), native audio or silent, camera moves, visual styles, and a negative prompt for things to avoid.

Rendering usually takes 1–5 minutes. Finished videos appear on the character page, in My videos, and on the Explore feed.

Video generation costs real money because Kling rendering isn't free. You pay per video in USDC on Solana. The price is the Kling rendering cost plus a 25% KlingPad fee, shown exactly before you pay. No surprises.

The flow is always the same, in this order:

1. Sign in with your wallet.
2. Write your prompt and review the exact USDC price.
3. Approve the USDC transfer in your wallet.
4. We verify the payment on-chain. Only then does Kling start rendering.

No rendering credits are ever spent before your payment is confirmed. If something fails after you paid, your payment is saved and you can continue the generation without paying twice.

Explore is the public feed of KlingPad characters and their videos. Characters only appear there once their token is confirmed on-chain, so everything you see is real and launched.
